Why working automations stop working
APIs change without notice. Plans get downgraded and hit limits. The person who built it left and took the context with them. Someone renames a column in a spreadsheet nobody thought was load-bearing. Credentials expire. A vendor deprecates an endpoint.
None of these announce themselves. Most of the rescue work we do is on systems that were built competently and then left alone.
What's included
- Discovery and documentation. First month is finding out what you actually have. Most clients are running more automation than they can list.
- Monitoring. Alerting on failed runs, silent failures and volume anomalies. The last one catches the failures that don't throw errors.
- Fixes. Breakages repaired within an agreed response window, on any platform: Make, n8n, Zapier, Airtable.
- Ongoing optimisation. Cutting operation costs and retiring workflows nobody uses any more.
What it costs
$1,500–$3,000 per month depending on how much you're running and how fast you need breakages fixed. No long contract, and thirty days' notice either way.

When you don't need this
If you've got two or three simple automations and someone in-house who understands them, you don't need a retainer. Support earns its cost when a breakage would reach a customer before it reached you.
