The automation specialists behind Giant Nerd

Giant Nerd Automations is a four-person automation agency and an official Make Technical Partner. The team has worked together for more than seven years, and has been automating business operations for clients since 2018.

Four specialists, one delivery process

Between us, we cover the four disciplines most automation projects depend on.

DisciplineWhat it covers
E-commerce and retail automationStore, marketplace, product and order workflows, from Shopify listings to wholesale operations.
DevOps and automation infrastructureHosting, deployment, monitoring and backups for the systems your automations run on, including self-hosted n8n.
Process architecture and interface designMapping how work really flows before anything is built, then designing the dashboards, portals and interfaces your team uses every day.
CRM and data pipeline managementKeeping sales pipelines, CRM records and the data moving between your systems accurate and in sync.

Having worked together for so long, we run every project on the same well-established delivery process. Giant Nerd Automations is registered in the United Kingdom, and the team is based in Europe, primarily in Portugal. We work with clients worldwide.

How Giant Nerd started

Giant Nerd began with a business our founder, Abdel Beldy, automated from end to end. That experience became client work, and in 2018, Giant Nerd Automations.

What drives the team is the analytical side of the job: understanding the real logic of a process and finding its weak points before anything is automated.

Our delivery standards

  1. delivery dates

Deadlines are agreed carefully and treated as commitments. We would rather set a realistic date than miss an optimistic one.

  2. response time

Every query answered within 24 hours.

  3. progress reports

Weekly or daily, depending on your preference.

  4. handover

Every project closes with a recorded video walkthrough and documentation written for both technical and non-technical readers.

Selected work

Our work includes client onboarding funnels for several companies and fully automated, personalised video outreach built before generative AI made it easy, like the system in our recruitment agency case study.

We have delivered automation in healthcare, finance, marketing, recruitment, lead generation, beverage wholesale and music. Clients we can name include Wholesale Universe and Inclusive Therapy Group. Other projects are in our case studies, described by industry where the client prefers not to be named.

Why reliable automation takes more than AI

Many businesses expect AI to take over a process with little ongoing attention. In practice, reliable automation depends on careful planning before the build, thorough documentation once it's live, and ongoing maintenance as the tools it relies on change.

That is why every engagement starts with an automation audit, and why we offer automation support and maintenance once systems are running.

When we're not the right fit

We won't automate a process that isn't worth it. If the manual work adds up to a few hours a month, or the process changes every week, we'll say so at the audit stage.

We don't bill hourly for builds or take a percentage of savings, and we don't sell six-figure "AI transformations" to twenty-person companies. Where a simple rule does the job better than a model, we use the rule.

We're also not the right partner for projects without a clear objective, or where the budget doesn't allow for the planning, documentation and maintenance that make automation last.

Start with the audit

One week, fixed price, no commitment to anything after it. You get a map of your manual work, a costed list of what's worth automating, and an honest note about what isn't. The fee comes off the build if you go ahead.
